Little Girl

Author(s) : Ann Privateer,
poetry, issue-three

Stands in the rain
Hands in pockets
Head hung low
Alone, leaving
Before the sun
Catching the train
Trudging on
Feigning normalcy
To all who stand
In the rain and not
Complain.

Ann Privateer grew up in Ohio and now lives in California. She is a poet, artist and photographer. Some of her work has appeared in Third Wednesday Magazine and Entering to name a few.
